Belgian waffles are a variety of waffle made with a lighter batter, larger squares, and deeper pockets than normal American waffles. Belgian waffles were originally leavened with yeast, but now baking powder is most often used. It is soft and tasty breakfast or snack item to be had. Waffles are the favourite of kids and adults. It is the eggless version of waffles and easily made at home.
