Ingredients

  • Wheat flour - 2 cup
  • Baking powder - 2 teaspoon
  • Butter - 1/2 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup (optional)
  • Round greased microwave baking mould - 7"-8"
  • Soda - 1 teaspoon
  • For Green color - Boil and make fine paste of 1/2 cup peas
  • For Red color - Boil and make fine paste of 2 carrot
  • For White color - Make paste of 1 cup maida

Instructions

  1. Mix the wheat flour, baking powder, soda and sieve it twice. Add butter and sugar and beat the batter smooth. If required you may add milk.
  2. Divide the batter in three parts.
  3. Add peas paste in first part for green colour, carrot paste in second part for red colour and leave the third one as is.
  4. In the greased moulds first put green paste followed by white paste and finally by red paste.
  5. Bake in microwave for 3 minutes. Let it stand for 5 minutes and take the muffins out of the mould.
  6. Enjoy tasty Tricolour Muffins.
