Ingredients

  • Thick sabudana/ sago seeds - 1 bowl
  • Makhana/ Fox nuts - 1 bowl
  • Tomato/ tamatar(chopped) - 1/2 bowl
  • Onion/ pyaz(chopped) - 2 bowls
  • Peanuts/ moongfali(roasted) - 1 bowl
  • Green coriander/ dhaniya chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Sweet tamarind/ imli chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Coriander/ dhaniya leaves(chopped) - 2 tablespoons, chopped green chilies : 1 teaspoon
  • Salt/ namak as per taste
  • Spices/ masale - Red chili/ lal mirch powder - 1/4 teaspoon, chat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil for frying as required
  • Green chilly - 2

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan on a medium flame. Deep fry the sabudana and set it aside.
  2. Deep fry the fox nuts too, set aside.
  3. Take a bowl and add fried sabudana, fried fox nuts, roasted peanuts, tomatoes, onions, green chilli, all spices and chutney. Mix it well.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves. Sabudana chaat is ready to be served.
