Sabudana Muffins – Innovative Recipe

Sabudana Muffins is an innovative recipe that I tried out last weekend. Sabudana is very well known for its healthy nature and contains lots of proteins. This recipe is easy, tasty and is loved by kids too.

Ingredients

  • Sabudana - 1 cup
  • Oats - 1 cup
  • Pepper powder/ kali mirch powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Roasted cumin powder/ bhuna hua jeera powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion chopped - 1
  • Tomato chopped - 1
  • Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Soak sabudana for 20 minutes and grind the sabudana in a mixer.
  2. Add oats, pepper powder, cumin powder, salt and mix it nicely and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Take microwave mould and put batter in it. Bake on microwave settings for 5 minutes.
  4. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan and stir fry chopped onions and tomatoes for a while.
  5. Garnish the muffins with roasted onion and tomatoes.
  6. 'Sabudana Muffins' are ready to be served now.
