Ingredients

  • Green chilli/hari mirch - 1
  • Coriander leaves - a handful
  • Onion/pyaz - 1
  • Tomato/tamatar - 1
  • Lemon/nimbu - 1
  • Potato chips/wafers - 1 packet
  • Puffed rice - equal to the amount of potato chips
  • Namkeen(your choice) - 2 teaspoons
  • Red chilli paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Tamarind chutney/imli chutney - 3 tablespoons
  • Garam masala - a pinch
  • Salt - tastewise
  • Roasted jeera powder - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Chop coriander leaves, green chilli, onion and tomatoes.
  2. Cut lemon into half and squeeze out the juice.
  3. In a large bowl, crush potato chips.
  4. Add puffed rice, namkeen, onion, tomato, lemon juice, coriander leaves and green chillies.
  5. Add red chilli paste, tamarind chutney, roasted jeera powder, garam masala, salt into the mixture.
  6. Mix all the ingredients properly.
  7. Potato chips bhel is ready to be relished.
