Ingredients

  • Grated potato/ aloo - 1 big
  • Salt/ namak - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red Chili/ lal mirch powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried Mango/ amchur powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin/ jeera powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper/ kali mirch powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala powder (optional) - 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Coarsely grate potato in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add all the ingredients as mentioned above.
  3. Mix well. Heat a non stick pan.
  4. Sprinkle some oil on the pan. Take the mix in your hand and squeeze out the moisture.
  5. Make round tikkis out of this mix.
  6. Cook this on medium flame until it turns golden colour on both the sides.
  7. Delicious 'Potato Rosti' is ready now. Serve hot.
