Ingredients

  • Pineapple : 1 chopped
  • Sugar : 1 cup
  • Dessicated coconut : 3 tablespoon
  • Khoya : 1/2 cup
  • Chopped nuts : 3 tablespoon
  • Desi ghee for greasing
  • Cardamom/Ilaichi powder : 1 teaspoon
  • Black raisins for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat a heavy bottom nonstick pan.
  2. Put chopped pineapple and sugar together and cook till the excess water evaporates from it.
  3. Now add crumbled khoya and dessicated coconut to it and mix well.
  4. Cook this mixture for 4-5 minutes while stirring continuously.
  5. Turn off the gas and add cardamom / elaichi powder and the chopped nuts and give a good mix.
  6. Take a plate and grease it with ghee. Pour the burfi mixture to it and spread evenly.
  7. Garnish with black raisins.
  8. Let it cool down. Once cool,cut the burfi into the shape you desire.
  9. Enjoy superbly tasty and soft pineapple burfis.
  10. Tip : Take out the burfi pieces very carefully as their texture is very soft.
