Ingredients

  • Wheat flour - 1 bowl
  • Ghee - 2 tablespoon
  • Grated Jaggery - 3/4 bowl
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped almond - 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Put pan on the gas. Add ghee and heat on medium flame.
  2. Add wheat flour in it and mix it well. Cook on low flame till it becomes brown (20-25 minutes)
  3. Add grated jaggery and mix it properly. Cook on low flame for 10 minutes till ghee separates from sides. Turn off the gas.
  4. Mix the cardamom powder. Brush tray with ghee and spread the mixture in the tray. Garnish with almond.
  5. After 5 minutes, cut in square pieces and cool it for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Sukhdi | Gur Papdi | Gol Papdi is ready to be served. You can add more ghee if it looks dry at the time of cooking flour or jaggery.
