Ingredients

  • Maida/ all purpose flour - 1 and half cup
  • Cocoa powder - 3 teaspoons
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh curd/ dahi - 1 cup
  • Crushed sugar/ cheeni - half cup
  • Baking soda - half teaspoon
  • Choco chips - half cup
  • Olive oil/ tel - 2-3 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Mix maida/ all purpose flour, cocoa powder and baking powder in a bowl and sieve it 3 times. This will bring it to such a volume that it becomes fluffy.
  2. Take a bowl and add beaten curd, crushed sugar, baking soda and mix it well till it becomes fluffy. Rest it for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Mix this curd mixture with above maida mix and add olive oil by pouring it slowly to it.
  4. Beat the mixture with cut and fold method for next 5 to 7 minutes. Add choco chips to it now. Mix well. Meanwhile preheat the oven at 180 degree C. for 10 minutes.
  5. Grease the cake tin with oil and pour the cake mix on it. Sprinkle some more choco chips over it. Bake the cake for next 30-35 minutes.
  6. Check it by inserting a tooth pick at the middle of the cake. If it comes clean then your cake is ready or else bake it for 1 more minute.
  7. Once done, take it out from oven and place it on a cooling rack.
  8. Mouth watering dessert 'Chocolate Choco Chips Cake' is ready to be served for your celebration. Enjoy every bite!
