Ingredients

  • Gole Gappe/ poori (Puchke) : 8-10
  • Boiled potatoes/ aloo - 2 medium sized
  • Chopped onions/ pyaz - 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped tomatoes/ tamatar - 2 tablespoons
  • Boiled black chana/ black chickpeas - 1/2 bowl
  • Chopped green chili/ hari mirch - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves/ dhaniyapatta - 1 tablespoon
  • Beaten curd/ dahi - 1/2 bowl
  • Green coriander chutney/ dhaniya chutney - 1 tablespoon / as per taste
  • Sweet Tamarind/ Imli chatni - 1 tablespoon / as per taste
  • Spices/ masale - Red chili powder/mirch powder, chaat masala and roasted jeera/cumin powder - as per your taste
  • Salt/ black salt - As per taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mash the boiled potato. Add black chana, onions, tomato, green chili, coriander leaves, spices and salt. Mix it well.
  2. Make a hole at the center of each gol gappe and fill the prepared potato masala.
  3. Add curd on top of it along with sweet tamarind chutney and green coriander chutney.
  4. Sprinkle salt, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala powder and red chili powder according to your taste.
  5. Spicy chaat poori is ready to be served!
