Ingredients

  • Bread pieces - 4-5
  • Besan/ gram flour - 1/2 cup
  • Water/ pani - 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli/lal mirch powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt/ namak(to taste)
  • Onions/ pyaz (chopped) - 1/2 cup
  • Green chilli/ hari mirch - 1 teaspoon (chopped)
  • Oil/ tel - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Add besan and water in a bowl. Make a smooth mixture.
  2. Add salt, red chili powder and garam masala. Mix well.
  3. Cut the sides of bread and cut the slices in half.
  4. Heat a non stick pan and grease it with oil.
  5. Dip the slices in besan batter and put on non stick pan.
  6. On the upper side, sprinkle some onions and green chilies.
  7. Flip the toast so that it gets cooked from another side too.
  8. Besan Toast Recipe is ready. Serve with a hot cup of chai.
