Ingredients

INGREDIENTS FOR MANCHURIAN - Baby corns (blanched and sliced long) - 250 gms
Corn flour - 3 tablespoons
Chopped onion - 1/4 cup
Chopped capsicum - 1/4 cup
Soya sauce - 2 tablespoons
Garlic, ginger, green chilli paste - 1 tablespoon
Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon
White vinegar - 2 teaspoons
Salt, pepper and red chilli powder - 2 teaspoons each
Oil for frying, chopped coriander for garnishing
INGREDIENTS FOR VEG NOODLES - Boiled noodles - 2 cups
Sliced onion, capsicum and carrots - 1 cup
Soya sauce - 2 teaspoons
Green chilli sauce - 1 teaspoon
White vinegar - 2 teaspoons
Salt, pepper and red chilli powder - as per taste
Ginger, garlic, green chilli paste - 2 teaspoons
Chopped coriander - for garnishing
Oil - 2 tablespoons

Instructions

METHOD FOR MANCHURIAN - First of all make a batter of corn flour with sufficient water by adding half of salt, pepper, red chili powder and soya sauce.
The batter should not be thick. Add long sliced baby corns and mix well with batter.
Keep aside for 10 minutes and heat the oil for frying.
Deep fry all the baby corns until crisp and golden.
In another pan saute ginger, garlic and chili paste. Add all the vegetables and sauté them.
Add remaining salt, spices, soya sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar and mix well.
Finally, add fried baby corns and cook everything together for 2 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander.
METHOD FOR NOODLES - Heat the oil in a kadahi and add ginger, garlic and green chili paste.
Add all the sliced vegetables and sauté.
Add all the spices, salt, soya sauce, green chili sauce and white vinegar.
Mix them well and add boiled noodles.
Mix everything together and garnish with chopped coriander.
Lip smacking Chinese combo dish baby corn manchurian with veg noodles is ready to be served.
