Ingredients

  • Gram flour (besan) - 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour - 2 tablespoon
  • Sprouted moong - 1/4 cup
  • Small onion, thinly sliced - 1
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoon
  • Green chillies, finely chopped - 2
  • Grated ginger - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder to taste
  • Oil to deep fry

Instructions

  1. Take a large mouthed bowl and add all the ingredients except oil. Mix well.
  2. Add water little by little and make a thick batter.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the oil and deep fry them until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Drain the fritters on an kitchen absorbent paper.
  5. Serve Sprouted Moong and Onion Fritters with tomato ketchup or chutney.
