Ingredients

  • All purpose flour - 1 Cup
  • Oil - 2 Cup(for deep frying)
  • Carom seeds - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt - To taste
  • Potatoes - 4 medium sized (boiled and mashed)
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Dried Mango powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Gram masala powder/All spice mix - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Chaat masala powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Green peas - 1/4 Cup (boiled)
  • Coriander leaves - 1/4 Cup (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl, add all purpose flour, 2 tablespoon oil, carom seeds and salt. Mix it well.
  2. Add water to make a soft dough and keep it aside for 10 minute.
  3. Take another bowl, add mashed potato, peas and all the spices. Mix it well.
  4. Add salt, coriander leaves and mix it well.
  5. Take a small portion of the dough and roll it out. Spread the potato mixture on it.Roll it tightly and cut into small pieces.
  6. Take a pan, add oil and heat. Then fry all the pinwheel samosa till it turns golden brown.
  7. Pinwheel Samosa is ready to be served. Garnish it with coriander leaves and with Tomato sauce and serve.
