Ingredients

  • Maida/All Purpose Flour- 1 cup
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Eno - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Water - 2/3 cup
  • Ghee for Shallow Frying

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients and make a dough.
  2. Boil water in a pot. Put a rice strainer over it and drape some cheese cloth on it.
  3. Roll out an oval shape from the dough and cover cook for 7-8 minutes.
  4. When the kulcha cools, shallow fry both side on a pan till it becomes light brown and crispy.
