Veg Chinese Noodles – Delicious Snack

Who doesn’t love noodles? It’s a favourite of almost everyone especially kids who love to hog on them. But as mothers, we are always concerned about the quality of noodles that we get outside, so here I present a simple and easy noodles recipe for your family which can be enjoyed guilt free.

Ingredients

  • Onions - 2 medium size (Sliced)
  • Tomato - 2 medium sized (Sliced)
  • Ginger and garlic paste - 1 teaspoon each
  • Salt - 2 teaspoon as per taste
  • Pepper powder - 1 -2 teaspoon as required
  • Chaat masala - 1.5 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Soya sauce - 2-3 teaspoon
  • Vinegar - 1 teaspoon
  • Tomato Sauce / Chili Sauce - 2 teaspoon
  • Green chilies - 1
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon while boiling the noodles and 1 tbsp while cooking in the pan.
  • Noodles - 2 small packets

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl. Add water, noodles, salt and olive oil or any vegetable oil and let it boil till it cooks for 10-12 minutes. Don't overcook it.
  2. Take a pan, add oil. Let it heat for 1 minute. Add garlic paste and let it cook for 1 minute and then add the onions. Let it cook for 5 minutes till they turn golden brown.
  3. Add the tomatoes, let it cook for about 5 minutes till they get soft .
  4. Add the ginger paste and let it cook for about 5- 6 minutes.
  5. Add the green chilies chopped or slit as per your wish. Let it cook for 5 minutes more.
  6. Add the spices (pepper powder, garam masala, chat masala) and cook for about 5- 10 minutes till it doesn't start leaving oil from the pan.
  7. As we are cooking the veggies in the pan, keep an eye on the boiled noodles and once its boiled, remove it and strain the noodles. Let them cool for 5 minutes and if not we can add cold water also.
  8. Add the noodles in the pan and be gentle when we mix it to avoid tearing of the noodles.
  9. Add the soya sauce and vinegar and give it a good mix but be gentle while mixing.
  10. Add the tomato sauce and chili sauce. Give it a good mix. If salt or pepper is less we can add them more in the last for better taste. Let it cook for 1 minute more on low flame.
  11. Veg Chinese Noodles is ready to serve . Easy to make and healthy, these noodles are something new for a change. You can even add your wish of any other veggies also.
  12. Enjoy tasty Veg Chinese noodles.
