Ingredients

  • Chopped tomatoes/ tamatar - 1
  • Yogurt/ curd - 1 bowl
  • Salt/ namak - 1 teaspoon
  • Jeera/cumin and raai/ mustard - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil/ tel - 1/2 tablespoon
  • Coriander leaves/ dhaniya - for garnishing
  • Red chili/ lal mirch powder - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin and mustard seeds. Let the seeds crackle.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes, salt and red chili powder and sauté for a minute.
  3. In a bowl, take yogurt and pour the tomato mixture over it.
  4. Tangy and tasty 'Tomato Raita With Tadka' is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  5. NOTE - Let the tomato mixture cool a bit before pouring it over the yogurt. Else the curd will curdle
