Today my kids were in the mood to eat tandoori roti. So tried it out using the tandoor and it came out great. Here is the recipe for you guys to try it out.

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour : 2 bowl
  • Ghee : 2 tablespoon for moin
  • Salt : as per taste
  • Curd : 2 tablespoon
  • Baking soda : 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Mix salt, baking soda and 1 tablespoon ghee in whole wheat flour and then add curd. Prepare medium dough with water and keep it aside for 20 minutes covered with thick cloth.
  2. Take small portion of dough and dust it with whole wheat flour and give oval or round shape.
  3. Put tandoor on the gas and heat it on full flame. Put water on one side of roti on tandoor and cook it on medium flame and cook it from both the sides. When cooked from both sides take it out from tandoor.
  4. Put roti on plate and brush ghee over it.
  5. Enjoy garma garam tandoori roti.
