Sugar Paratha (Cheeni ka Paratha)

Ingredients

Wheat Flour Dough made from 1 Cup Flour
Powdered Sugar - 1 tablespoon for each paratha
Desi Ghee - 1 tablespoon

Instructions

Take a medium sized ball of atta dough and roll and flatten it to 4 inch diameter disc on a dusted rolling board, just as we make simple roti/ chapati.
Make another roti just like the first one.
Now put 1 tablespoon of sugar on 1 roti and spread it equally on all sides.
Put the other roti on it and bind together the edges of both the rotis. Press the rotis from the center with the help of your palm. All the edges should be bound properly.
Heat Non Stick tawa. Put the sugar paratha on it and cook it for few seconds. Flip the side and apply some ghee on the upper side of paratha.
Now turn the paratha and apply ghee to the other side also. Likewise cook all parathas.
Yummy Sugar Paratha is ready now.
Note : Serve sugar paratha immediately as it becomes hard if stored for longtime.

Good food creates good memories and can win many hearts. Though basic cooking started in my Mumbai days, but being in Germany for few years, I started missing all Indian food especially street food.
