Ingredients

  • Cauliflower-1medium sized piece
  • Tomato puree- 1 bowl
  • Chopped onion- 1 bowl
  • Garlic ginger paste- 1tbsp
  • Fresh malai -1 bowl
  • Cashew nut- 8-10 pieces
  • Paste of cashew nut - 3 tbsp
  • Spices-Cumin seeds, black pepper 1/4 tbsp, coriander powder 1 tbsp, turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp, garam masala 1/2 tbsp, red chili n salt according to taste
  • Cardamom- 2 pieces
  • Oil for frying and gravy

Instructions

  1. Take a medium size cauliflower and wash with warm water.
  2. Heat the oil in pan and fry whole cauliflower for 2 minutes and keep it separately.
  3. Add cumin seeds, crushed cardamom and chopped onion then saute for 2 minutes. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, red chili, black pepper, ginger garlic paste and tomato puree one by one and saute it.
  4. When the oil comes on the side, then add paste of cashew nut and 1/2 bowl malai. Mix well.
  5. Now put the cauliflower in the center of pan then pour the gravy on it by the help of spoon
  6. Cook for 2 min. with lid on slow flame. then turn cauliflower and again cook for 2 min. Now sprinkle garam masala n switch off the gas.
  7. Now garnish with cashew nut and malai
  8. Serve with parantha or chapati
