Ingredients

  • Sprouted moong/ green gram - 1 bowl
  • Bread crumbs - 1/2 bowl
  • Grated capsicum/ simla mirch - 1/4 bowl
  • Grated cabbage/ pattagobhi - 1/4 bowl
  • Chopped green fenugreek/ hari methi - 1/4 bowl
  • Chopped green chili/ hari mirch and ginger/ adarak - 2 tablespoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves/ dhaniya patta - 1 tablespoon
  • Spices/ masale - salt/ namak, garam masala, chat masala, cumin/ jeera powder and dry mango powder/ amchur as per taste
  • Zero no. sev/ nylon sev - 1/2 bowl
  • Vegetable oil/ tel - 4 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Take a large bowl and add sprouted moong, bread crumbs, vegetables and spices. Mix properly.
  2. Take small portion of above mixture and give a lollipop shape. Insert a wooden stick in the centre and press it.
  3. Heat some oil in tava on medium flame. Put sprouted lollipop on it and cook it on both sides for 8-10 minutes till it becomes pink in color. Now take it out on a plate.
  4. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan and add chopped green methi and sauté it for a while. Put off the gas immediately. This methi is for garnishing.
  5. Sprouts Lollipop is ready to be served. Garnish the dish with nylon sev and green methi.
