Seviyan Kesari – Delicious Dessert!
Ingredients
- Seviyan - 1/2 cup
- Water - 3/4 cup
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Orange food color - 2-3 drops
- Chopped nuts as required (for garnishing)
- Desi Ghee - 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Dry roast the seviyan in a pan.
- Add ghee in another pan. Add roasted seviyan to ghee and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add water, sugar, cardamom powder and food color to it.
- Cover it and cook for 7-8 minutes or till all the water dries up and seviyan is cooked.
- Garnish with chopped nuts.
- Yummy and easy "Seviyan Kesari" is ready to be served.
