Semolina Vegetable Cutlet
Ingredients
- Suji/semolina : 1 bowl
- Cumin seeds : 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Red chili : 1/2 teaspoon
- Chaat masala : 1 tablespoon
- Potato : 1 grated
- Carrot : 1 grated
- Cauliflower : 2 pieces grated
- Peas : 1 cup (boiled)
- Capsicum : 1 finely chopped
- Green chili : 2 chopped
- Coriander leaves : chopped
- Ginger chopped : 1 teaspoon
- Water : 2 bowls
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Take a vessel and add all the grated vegetables and 1 tablespoon oil to it. Cook it for a while. You may add a little water if required.
- When grated vegetables become tender, add the chopped vegetables, ginger, chilies, cumin seeds and the dry spices. Stir them well.
- Add water, salt and put suji and stir carefully to make sure no lumps are formed.
- When mixture gets thick, switch off the flame. Add coriander leaves on top and mix well. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
- Let it cool down a little. Make desired shapes (round balls/oval/any shape).
- Take another pan and heat sufficient oil for frying and fry 2-3 cutlets at a time .
- Fry the cutlets till they turn golden brown.
- Serve with your choice of sauce and enjoy with tea.
