Ingredients

  • Boiled potatoes - 4 or 5
  • Finely chopped onion, tomatoes, cabbage, carrot (1 medium bowl)
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves - for garnishing
  • Salt to taste
  • Maida solution (2 tablespoon of maida in 50 ml water). The solution should be thick.
  • Bread crumbs - 1 small bowl
  • Edible oil - 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Mash boiled potatoes and add all the ingredients except the maida solution and bread crumbs.
  2. Make round balls with a greased hand.
  3. Dip round balls into maida solution.
  4. Roll them into the bread crumbs.
  5. Deep fry in edible oil on medium flame. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  6. Serve your delicious Potato Lollipops hot with chutney or sauce.
