Paneer Bhurji is a wonderful treat for lunch or dinner.

Paneer Bhurji is a delicious dish and healthy sabzi. This uses cottage cheese/paneer, onion, tomato, and some spices only. Cottage cheese/[paneer is high in protein. This sabzi is very simple and quick to make. Moreover, you just need easily available ingredients. You can serve it with paratha or chapati as a lunch or dinner or even in the lunch box. Everyone in your family will enjoy this dish especially kids. So. try to make it at home and let us know your feedback.

Ingredients

  • Crushed Paneer/ Cottage Cheese - 200 Gram
  • Chopped Onion - 1 medium size
  • Chopped Tomato - 1 medium size
  • Chopped Green Coriander/ Dhaniya - 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped Green Chili/ Hari Mirch - 1 chopped
  • Vegetable Oil - 1 to 2 Tablespoon
  • Kashmiri Red Chili/ Lal Mirch Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Cumin Seeds/ Jeera - 1/2Teaspoon
  • Coriander/ Dhaniya Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric/ Haldi Powder - a pinch
  • Roasted Cumin Seeds/ Bhuna Jeera Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil on medium flame. Add cumin seeds and let the seeds crackle.
  2. Add chopped green chilli and saute for few seconds.
  3. Add chopped onion and saute it for 2-3 minutes. Then add chopped tomato and saute it for 2-3 minutes or until tomato turns soft.
  4. Add turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, salt. Mix well.
  5. Add paneer and saute it. Add chopped coriander. Mix it properly and cook for a minute. Then switch off the gas.
  6. 'Paneer Bhurji' is ready to be served with paratha, puri, naan.
