Palak Patte Pakore – Quick Snacks!!
Ingredients
- Spinach/ palak - 250 gms
- Besan/ Gram flour - 1 bowl
- Rice flour/ chawal atta - 1/2 bowl
- Red chili powder, dry mango powder/ amchur, cumin/ jeera powder, garam masala - 1/2 tablespoon each
- Oil as required for frying pakore
- Carrots and radish as required for salad
- Salt to taste
- Tomato ketchup for serving
Instructions
- Take gram flour, rice flour, salt and all above spices and make a smooth batter for pakore by mixing them and adding a little water to it.
- Meanwhile wash and clean the spinach leaves.
- Dip the palak leaves on by one in besan to make pakore and thereby make a coating of besan over it.
- Meanwhile heat enough oil for fry the pakoras.
- Deep fry the pakoras and transfer them to a serving plate.
- Delicious and healthy - Palak Patte Pakore are ready to be served with chutney/ ketchup. You may also serve the dish with freshly chopped salad of carrots and radish.
