Ingredients

  • Small sized whole spinach leaves - 8-10
  • Chickpea flour/besan - 1 cup
  • Whisked curd - 1/2 cup
  • Tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Coriander chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt, pepper, chat masala, red chilli powder - Per taste
  • Water for batter - 2 cups
  • Oil for frying
  • Sev for garnishing - 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Make a batter of chickpea flour, salt, all the spices and water.
  2. Heat the oil and dip whole spinach leaves in the batter and deep fry them.
  3. When palak leaf pakoras cool down, spread curd and chutneys over them.
  4. Garnish with sev and yummy palak papdi chaat is ready to be served.
