Palak Ke Pakore – Healthy Recipe
Ingredients
- Spinach leaves/ palak - 1 cup
- Gramflour/ besan - 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric, Red chilli powder, Ajwain, Saunf, Chat masala - 1/2 tablespoon each
- Pinch of Asafoetida and baking soda
- Water as required for making batter of pakore
Instructions
- Add all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Make a smooth batter for pakora by adding some water. Lumps should not be there in the batter.
- Add chopped spinach leaves to the batter and mix well.
- Meanwhile heat enough oil for frying the pakoras.
- Place few pakoras in the oil. Fry them from both the sides till they become crispy.
- Collect them in a tissue paper and then transfer them to a serving plate.
- Sprinkle some chat masala on these pakoras and serve them with ketchup/ chutney and a cup of ginger tea.
- Enjoy healthy and tasty palak ke pakore.
