Mixed Veg Paneer Pie – Delicious Meal
Ingredients
- FOR BASE - Maida - 2 1/2 cups
- Butter - 1/2 cup+1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- FOR FILLING - First layer - Paneer - 100 gms
- Sweet corn - 1/3 cup
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Chopped coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Second layer - Chopped mixed veg - 2 cup (onion, tomato, french beans, spring onion, capsicum, carrot, green peas)
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Jeera/cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green chilli chopped - 1
- Amchur/dry mango powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped coriander -1 teaspoon
- Salt
- Third layer - Mozzarella cheese - 50 gms
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients of base and make a dough using water. Rest for 30 minutes.
- Mix all the ingredients of first layer.
- For second layer, heat oil in a pan and add jeera. When it crackles, add onion and saute for 3-4 minutes.
- Now add all the vegetables and salt. Mix well and cover the pan for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, add remaining spices of second layer and mix gently.
- Third layer - grate the cheese and keep aside.
- Preheat the oven at 180' C.
Take base dough and divide into 2 parts and roll both the parts using rolling pin.
- Spread one part in pie mould and make small holes using fork.
- Bake at 180' C for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes remove pie mould from the oven and set the first layer, second layer and third layer ingredients.
- Cut the second part into 1/2 inch strips and make a net on top of pie mould.
- Bake again in the preheated oven at 180'c for 50-60 minutes or until golden in color and crispy.
- Our Mixed Veg Paneer Pie is ready to serve with sauce and dip.
