Ingredients

  • Thick Curd - 2 Cup
  • Ice Cubes - as required
  • Dry nuts chopped (cashew, almonds, pistachios) - 2 Tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Crushed sugar - 2 Tablespoon
  • Homemade unsalted butter - 4 Tablespoon
  • Kesar/saffron - few strands
  • Rose water - 2 Tablespoon
  • Chilled Milk - 1 Cup

Instructions

  1. Soak saffron in rose water.
  2. Take a bowl, add curd, cardoamom powder, chilled milk, rose water with saffron, crushed sugar. Mix it well with mathni/hand masher.
  3. Add crushed ice to this. Mix well.
  4. Take serving glasses, pour the lassi. Top it with homemade unsalted butter from milk or curd or in cas eyou dont have it, use the butter or malai that is formed at the top when you make curd at home and chopped dry nuts.
  5. Yummy 'Makhaniya Lassi' is ready to be served. Serve chilled. Note:- You can add the cream of curd instead of unsalted homemade butter.
