Makhana Coconut Ladoo is a yummy and instant sweet for all.

Makhana Coconut Ladoo is a healthy and delicious ladoo made of fox nuts, coconut, dry fruits. These ladoos are packed with nutrition. This is an instant snack and dessert for all. Fox nuts are rich in fibre, calcium and minerals. They are good for weight loss as well. Everyone will love this dessert cum snack. So, try this quick and easy ladoo recipe at home for the festivals like Diwali and enjoy with your family and friends.

This ladoo was prepared by a lovely mom Shveta Sheth. She has learned this recipe from Vijay Haldiya.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Roast the makhana/fox nuts until crispy with some ghee.
  • You can adjust the sugar according to your taste.
  • Use dry fruits of your choice to make the ladoo.
  • You can store the ladoo for one week in the refrigerator. And in the airtight container outside for 3 to 4 days.

Ingredients

  • Makhana/Fox Nuts - 50 Gram
  • Desiccated Coconut - 3/4 Cup
  • Milk - 4 to 5 Tablespoon or as required
  • Sugar - 3/4 Cup or as per taste
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Ghee/Clarified butter - 3 to 4 Tablespoon
  • Mixed Dry Fruits (Pistachios, Almonds, Cashew) - 1/4 Cup

Instructions

  1. Take a kadai, add a teaspoon of ghee and heat it.
  2. Add makhana to it and roast it on a low flame until crispy.
  3. Once done take it out in a grinder jar. Grind into a coarse powder. Transfer to a bowl.
  4. Slightly roast the desiccated coconut in a kadai. or you can add desiccated coconut without roasting as well.
  5. Transfer to the makhana bowl. Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, remaining ghee, mixed chopped dry fruits. Mix well all together.
  6. Add little milk for binding.
  7. Now, make small ladoo out of it.
  8. Yummy 'Makhana Coconut Ladoo' is ready to be served.
