Maharashtra Special: Instant Mava Modak  – By RAJNI!

MODAK is a traditional sweet dish in Indian cuisine. It is usually loved by all in Maharashtra but it is not very common in other parts of India. My family is very fond of having modak as they are available in different flavors as well..  I hope u will also like this tempting dish….

Ingredients

  • Mava 500gm
  • Sugar 250gm
  • Green cardamom powder half teaspoon
  • Dry coconut powder 50gm

Instructions

  1. Put some sugar and mava in a wok
  2. Now keep it stirring till it gets melted on medium flame .
  3. Stir it for the time being it leaves its side.
  4. This all will take 10 minutes.
  5. Now keep it aside for cooling.
  6. After cooling add coconut powder and cardamom powder.
  7. Now mix it properly
  8. Now make modak out of it by keeping it in a mold
  9. Your delicious modak are ready
