Maggi tikka is a fried Indian snack with lip-smacking taste.

Maggi tikka is a fusion of popular noodles brand maggi with vegetables and spices. All the ingredients (maggi, potato onion, capsicum, bread, sewai and spices) bound and fried together yield an extraordinary outcome. Maggi tikka is a delicious snack which can be served to our guests and can also be served in tiffin.

Ingredients

  • Maggi - 1/2 cup
  • Boiled Potato - 2 pieces
  • White bread - 2 slices
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Maggi masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Onion - 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum - 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
  • Sewai - 1/2 cup
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Soya sauce - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil - for frying
  • Water - as needed

Instructions

  1. In a pan add water then boil Maggi and keep it aside.
  2. In a bowl, add boiled potato and mash them, add boiled maggi, bread, red chilli powder, chaat masala, maggi masala and mix it well.
  3. Add chopped onion and capsicum then add salt and soya sauce mix it well.
  4. Grease your palm and make tikka from the mixture and then cover it with sewai.
  5. In a tawa, add oil then fry all the tikkas. Insert a wooden stick to make it more attractive.
  6. Maggi tikka is ready to be served. Serve it with tomato sauce and green chutney/chilli sauce.
