Macaroni In White Sauce

Ingredients

Macaroni - 2 cups
Water for boiling pasta - 1 litre
Salt - 2 teaspoons
Oil - 2 teaspoons
Onion/Pyaz(chopped) - 1 medium
Carrots(chopped) - 1 big
Capsicum/shimla mirch(chopped) - 1 big
Oil for cooking macaroni - 2 tablespoons
INGREDIENTS For White Sauce - Butter - 1 tablespoon
Refined flour - 1 tablespoon
Milk - 200 ml
Mixed Italian seasoning - 2 teaspoons
Chilli flakes - tastewise
Salt - tastewise
Chopped garlic - 4-5 cloves

Instructions

Boil macaroni in water with salt and oil.
When boiled, strain the macaroni and keep it aside.
FOR THE SAUCE - Heat butter in a pan and add flour. Stir continuously for 1 minute.
Add milk and stir so that the lumps are not formed. Add salt, chilli flakes and Italian seasoning.
Keep sauce aside. Heat oil in a pan. Saute garlic slightly.
Add chopped vegetables and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add white sauce in the pan. Add a little milk if the sauce is thick.
Finally, add boiled macaroni and mix everything together.
Sprinkle some more seasoning on the top. Macaroni in white sauce is ready to be served.
