Ingredients

  • 1 cup sooji(semolina)
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 2 tbsp Rice flour (Optional)
  • water as required for batter
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 cup finely chopped vegetables (carrots, colored bell peppers, green chili, onion, tomato, coriander, cabbage)
  • 1 spoon oregano(optional)
  • oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Grind all above ingredients except veggies and oregano in a grinder by adding little water at a time.
  2. Batter should be like idly batter consistency. Keep it for 10 minutes.
  3. Add oregano to chopped vegetables.
  4. Put a ladle full of batter on non stick tawa . Add chopped veggies mixture on top.
  5. Add little oil on all sides and flip it. Now cook it from other side as well.
  6. It is ready , serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
