Ingredients

  • Condensed milk - 200 Gram
  • Cottage cheese /Paneer - 1 Cup mashed
  • Fresh cream/Malai - 2 Tablespoon
  • Almonds - handful crushed coarsely
  • Pistachios/Pista - few cut into small pieces
  • Almonds - as required cut into halves
  • Cardamom/ elaichi powder - 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed
  • Saffron - 10 to 12 strands soaked in 1 tablespoon warm milk
  • Ghee/Clarified Butter - 1 Tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take a pan, heat butter. Add mashed paneer. Roast it on low-medium flame for 1 minute.
  2. Add malai to the paneer. Mix it well. Cook for 1-2 minutes on a low-medium flame. Add saffron milk. Mix well. Cook while stirring continuously.
  3. Add condensed milk to it. If you do not have condensed milk, add one cup powdered sugar to it. Mix well.
  4. Add crushed cardamom to it. Cook while stirring continuously. When it starts thickening and leaving the sides of pan switch off the flame.
  5. Transfer to the plate. Let it cool down for 5-7 minutes. Add some chopped pista and almonds to it. Mix well.
  6. Make laddus out of it. Garnish with pista and almonds.
  7. Yummy 'Instant Malai Laddu' is ready to be served.
