Instant Homemade Mawa Peda

No worries, make this instant homemade mawa or mawa peda at home in under 15 minutes and satisfy your craving for a pure sweet with no worries of adulterated products used outside 🙂

Ingredients

  • Milk Powder - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Ghee or butter - 2 tablebspoon
  • Sugar - 3 tablespoon
  • Cardamom Powder - 2 pieces
  • Almonds + Cashew - 5-6 pieces

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoon ghee in a non stick pan on medium flame.
  2. Add milk and stir the mixture, let it come to a boil.
  3. Add milk powder and stir continuously on medium flame for 10 minutes. When the mixture appears to be thick and leaves the sides of the pan, take it off the gas and transfer it into a bowl.
  4. Instant Mawa is ready. Now add ground mixture of sugar, cardamom, almonds and cashew to the mawa.
  5. Mix well. Make round balls with the mixture and flatten the ball a little. Now press the round ball with middle finger in the center.
  6. Garnish with whole piece of almond and Instant Homemade Mawa or Mawa Peda is ready. Enjoy!
