Instant Creamy Malpua – Delicious
Ingredients
- All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
- Full fat cream - 1/4 cup
- Milk - 1/2 cup or as needed
- For sugar syrup -
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Kesar strands - 10-12
- Cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ghee or oil for frying
- For garnish -
- Silver vark as required for presentation of the sweet
- Pistachios sliced - 1 tablespoon
- Almonds sliced - 1 tablespoon
- Kesar strands - 10-12
Instructions
- In a bowl, add all purpose flour and cream and mix well. Also add milk slowly as needed for thick and pouring consistency batter. Keep this batter aside for 5 minutes.
- For sugar syrup - In a pan add sugar and water and boil it till it becomes thick. Add cardamom powder add kesar strands. Boil it in slow flame.
- Heat ghee in a flat pan on medium flame. Now pour one big spoon of Malpua batter in ghee. Fry it till it gets golden brown color.
- Flip it and fry it till this side become brown in color.
- Keep it out with help of splinter/ chimta. Likewise, make another Malpua with the remaining batter.
- Put these Malpua in sugar syrup for 30 second flip it. Keep another 30 seconds in sugar syrup.
- Keep it out with help of splinter and keep it in platter. Garnish it with silver vark, kesar strands, sliced pistachios and sliced almonds.
- "Instant Creamy Malpua" is ready now. Serve it hot!
