Ingredients

  • Rice flour-1-1/2 cup
  • Coconut powder-1cup
  • Jaggery(gur)-1cup
  • Cardamon-2-3
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Cashew
  • Refined oil 1tps

Instructions

  1. Boil water, add oil and salt to it.
  2. Take rice flour mix in water (as required)which is boiled, let it warm, now knead it to get dough.
  3. For filling, take pan heat it, add coconut powder along with grinded cardamon, small pieces of cashews.
  4. Add grated jaggery to it and mix well to get the filling
  5. Finally make balls of Rice dough, then flatten it to fill the filling . Give the shape of Modak.
  6. Steam these prepared Modaks in a steamer or idli maker.
  7. Modaks ready for BAPPA to taste.
