Mangodi | Vadi | Badi is made using green gram. Green gram is ground and mixed with some asafoetida, red chilli powder and salt to make small round shape or long shaped dumplings. These dumplings then dried in sunlight for a day or two. The dried mangodi then used to make different types of curries.
