Ingredients

  • Grapes/ angoor - 1/2 kg
  • Coriander seeds/ khada dhaniya - 1 teaspoon
  • Ajwain/ carom seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Yellow mustard/ peelee rai - 1 teaspoon
  • Black mustard/ kali rai - 1 teaspoon
  • Nigella seeds /kalaunji- 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilli/ lal mirch powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Amchur/ dry mango powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard oil/sarso tel - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt/ namak as per taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Add coriander seeds, nigella seeds, yellow and black mustard and carom seeds and splutter them.
  2. Add grapes, salt, red chili powder and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add amchur powder and mix it nicely. Switch off the gas now. Cool the pickle and then put it in a jar.
  4. NOTE - You can keep it outside for 1 week and in the fridge for 1 month.
  5. NOTE - After washing the grapes, dry it. Because if water is there in the pickle, then it will not stay for long.
