Eggless dripping chocolate cake was in my mind long time..two layered cake filled with roasted walnuts mousse. I have garnished this cake with chocolate curls which I made in 10 minutes and strawberry dip in chocolate .. overall full chocolate overloaded cake..bliss for chocolate lovers..😍😍

Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour ( Maida) - 3 cups
  • Vanilla essence - 2 teaspoon
  • Granulated sugar - 2 cup
  • Sour butter milk - 2 cup
  • Coca powder - 2 teaspoon
  • Cocoa powder - 1 cup
  • For garnishing: Chocolate curls
  • Strawberry - As per taste
  • Baking chocolate - 2 cup
  • Cream - 1.5 cup
  • Roasted chopped walnuts - as per taste
  • Butter - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Sieve all purpose flour, coca powder, baking soda, salt in a bowl.
  2. Add all wet ingredients like butter milk, oil , sugar and vanilla essence in a big bowl.
  3. Mix together both of the mixtures above and beat it by beater and pour this mixture in greased pan. Bake it in preheat oven at 180'C for 40 -45 minutes or till tooth pick comes out neat.
  4. Meanwhile we will make our chocolate ganache or topping.
  5. Heat one cup cream in a pan and pour it over 1 and 1/2 cup chopped chocolate.
  6. Cover it and let it sit. Mix it well. Now keep it in fridge.
  7. Now melt half cup chocolate using double boiler method ( here you take a pan with boiling water in it and then keep another small pan with chocolate in it above the boiler water and let the chocolate melt.)
  8. Wash strawberry, dry it and dip them in melted chocolate.
  9. Remaining melted chocolate we can spread over on flat surface with help of spatula and let it dry.
  10. When it is dried completely, carefully we have to curl them.
  11. Our chocolate curls and chocolate strawberry are ready. Now work on ganache or topping.
  12. When ganache become of scoop-able consistency, we have to keep aside 1/2cup ganache for mousse along with roasted chopped walnuts.
  13. In renaming half cup of chocolate ganache, add 1/2 cup whipped cream.
  14. Add roasted walnuts and mix well
  15. Now let the cake cool down and cut it carefully horizontally.
  16. Now fill the cake with roasted walnuts mousse. Cover cake with ganache and pour ganache on edge of cake
  17. Garnish it with chocolate curls and chocolate dip strawberries..
  18. If cake is dry in between , than you can use sugar syrup or strawberry jam ( 2 tablespoon) on the layer of cake.
