Ingredients

  • Milk - 1 kg
  • Raw Pheni or pheniyaan - 2 pieces
  • Sugar - 2 tablespoon
  • Chopped Pistachio and Almond ( Pista/Badaam) - 2 tablespoon
  • Cardamom Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Saffron ( Kesar) - 12-15 leaves

Instructions

  1. Boil milk till it reduces to half of quantity on medium flame.
  2. Add sugar, drynuts, cardamom powder and saffron in it. Mix well and switch off the gas after 5 minutes at slow flame.
  3. Pour this mixture in serving bowl and add pheni to it. Garnish with sliced dry nuts.
  4. Serve doodh pheni hot and enjoy this dessert immediately!
