Mooli Paratha (Radish Paratha)

Ingredients

Wheat Flour/Atta - 1 Cup
Grated Radish(Mooli) - 3/4th Cup (Take a medium size Radish)
Chopped Onion - 1 piece
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Jeera/cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Ajwain - 1/2 tbsp
Chopped Green Chilies - 2
Oil - 5-6tbsp
Salt to taste

Instructions

Prepare a Dough of Atta and set it aside for 5 minutes.
Grate mooli and then add salt and chopped onions and set aside for 5 minutes so that it will release water from the mooli.
After 10 minutes,you can see the Radish will start loosing Water. Squeeze out the Water from Radish. (You may use this water for preparing the Atta Dough too)
Take Grated Radish in a Bowl and add all dry ingredients(Turmeric/Red Chili/Garam Masala/Cumin Seeds Powder, Ajwain and Chopped Green Chilies) and mix it well.
Heat Non Stick Tawa. Now take lemon sized ball from the Atta Dough and roll them into a 6cm circle.
Spread 1tablespoon of Mooli mixture on the rolled Dough,and cover the mixture properly by gathering the edges of the Paratha while pinching it to the center. Seal it tightly and flatten it by pressing gently. Again dust it into dry flour and roll it gently and roll it carefully into about 6 inch diameter circle. Rolling stuffed paratha comes to perfection through practice.
Place it on Tawa and cook it from one side properly. Flip it now and cook the other side too. Apply Oil as required.
Use a flat spoon for pressing the Parathas. Once the Parathas are golden Brown and Crispy,remove it to a serving plate.
Mooli Parathas are ready now. Serve them Hot with Butter/Pickle/Chatney.
