Crispy Papad Rolls – Instant Appetizer
Ingredients
- Papad - 5 (preferably Lijjat papad)
- Boiled potatoes - 2
- Anardana/ pomegranate seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Roasted cumin seeds/ bhuna jeera powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil as required(for deep frying)
- Water as required (for dipping papads)
Instructions
- Mash the boiled potatoes and add salt, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder and anardana.
- Dip papads in water for 10 seconds.
- Take papads out of water and fill it with potato stuffing and fold it from the corners.
- Meanwhile heat enough oil on medium flame. Once oil is hot, deep fry the papad.
- "Crispy Papad Rolls" are ready to be served as starter for your meal.
