Ingredients

  • All purpose flour - 1 cup
  • Sooji - 1/2 cup
  • Butter - 1/2 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Coconut powder - 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Milk - 3-4 tablespoons
  • Desiccated coconut - required for garnishing.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix butter and sugar thoroughly with a spoon. Add the coconut powder and mix it well.
  2. Add all-purpose flour, sooji, cardamom powder and milk to make a dough. Cover the dough with a muslin cloth and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  4. Now take the dough and make circular balls of it and press each round ball a little from the center.
  5. Bake these cookies for 30-40 minutes in the oven.
  6. Once done garnish them with desiccated coconut.
  7. Healthy and yummy cardamom flavored coconut cookies are ready to be served for evening snacks.
