Cabbage Palak Paratha & Raita – Tasty Meal

Usually children don’t like to eat vegetables. Making parathas out of veggies is a great way to make them have their veggies. Try my easy recipe for Cabbage Palak Parathas & Raita . Not only your kids but everyone in your family will love this.

Ingredients

  • FOR PARATHAS
  • Wheat flour - 1 1/2 cup
  • Besan - 1/2 cup
  • Rava - 1/2 cup
  • Grated cabbage - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped Spinach - 1/2 cup
  • Green chillies and ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon
  • Jeera - 1/2 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Milk for making dough - As per requirement
  • Oil or ghee for roasting Parathas - As per requirement
  • FOR RAITA
  • Curd (thick) - 2 cups
  • Grated Beet, Carrots, Cucumber, Coriander leaves chopped - 11/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. STEPS TO MAKE RAITA :
  2. Whisk the curd and add all the ingredients.
  3. Keep it in the refrigerator for cooling.
  4. STEPS TO MAKE PARATHAS:
  5. Mix all the flours and the remaining ingredients.
  6. Make semi soft dough by adding milk and 2 tablespoon of water.
  7. If the dough is sticky sprinkle flour while rolling.
  8. Do not let the dough set. Roll out the roti and roast the parathas.
  9. Add ghee or oil while roasting.
  10. Serve hot parathas with cold raita.
  11. Enjoy tasty Cabbage Palak Paratha with Raita.
