Ingredients

  • Full Fat Milk - 250 ml
  • Cardomom / elaichi powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Kesar - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Condensed milk / Milkmaid - 2 - 3 tablespoon ( as per taste)
  • Bread slices - 2-3 pieces
  • Chopped pista - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped almonds - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take 250 ml of full fat milk in the microwave safe plastic container and close the lid of the same. We are using special microyoga smart jug from Decor which prevents any milk spills in the microwave.
  2. Place the bowl in microwave for 2 minutes at 100 degree, after that place it for 8 minutes for 40 degree in microwave. This helps to make the milk thick, now take it out of microwave.
  3. Remove the lid and add elaichi powder, kesar and mix well.
  4. Add condensed milk and again mix well.
  5. Now cover the lid and keep in microwave for 2 minutes in normal mode. After that check the consistency, rabri is ready for our rasmalai.
  6. Add chopped pista and almonds to the rabri and keep aside.
  7. Now take the bread slices and cute small circles with small round katori or cookie cutter.
  8. Place these circular bread slices in rabri and flip it over to let the bread soak it well.
  9. Refrigerate it for 30 min to cool it down.(optional)
  10. Bread Rasmalai in 15 minutes is ready.. Place it on a plate and sprinkle some chopped nuts to garnish. Serve chilled.
