Ingredients

  • Maida/ All Purpose Flour - 1 cup
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • For making Bhel:
  • Fried Maggi Noodles - 2 cups
  • Onion(chopped) - 1/4 cup
  • Cucumber(chopped) - 1/4 cup
  • Tomatoes(chopped) - 3 tablespoons
  • Green chillies(chopped) - 1 teaspoon
  • Corn(boiled) - 4 tablespoons
  • Paneer(chopped) - 1/4 cup
  • Tomato ketchup or Imli Chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Coriander chutney - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • Chaat masala - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. For making Basket: Collect all ingredients required to make a basket. Now make a soft dough out of it. Make a roti and then roll it around an aluminum basket mould.
  2. Then take a small ball of dough and make cylindrical strips with your palm. Twist them around each other. Now attach these strips to bottom and upper part of mould . Prick outer side of basket with fork.
  3. Preheat oven at 180℃ for 10 minutes and bake these for 20 to 25 minutes or till they are baked.
  4. Now take two cups of maggi and fry them. Chop all ingredients. Take a bowl and add fried noodles . Add in all the vegetables. Add sauces, chutney, lemon juice and chaat masala.
  5. Add in salt to taste. Add fresh coriander. Mix everything very well. Fill this bhel inside your basket and serve.
  6. Basket of bhel is ready to serve.
