Ingredients

  • 2 apples (peeled and finely grated)
  • Paneer 250 gms (finely mashed)
  • Mawa 200 gms
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tablespoon
  • cardamom powder 1 tablespoon
  • 1/2 cup kishmish
  • ghee for frying
  • For sugar syrup
  • sugar 250 gms
  • water
  • saffron few strands

Instructions

  1. In pan, add water then add cinnamon powder, cardamon powder and add grated apples.
  2. Boil the grated apples for about 10 minutes.
  3. Strain boiled grated apples and keep aside the water used to boiled apples.
  4. In other bowl, add paneer, mawa, mix with hand.
  5. Add grated apples and gently mix altogether to make it a smooth dough like mixture.
  6. Make balls and in the middle of each ball place 1 kismish.
  7. Take a kadai and add ghee and deep fry these balls.
  8. Take them out on a paper napkin.
  9. Now to make sugar syrup, take water in which apples were boiled and add sugar and bring to a 2-3 boil.
  10. Sieve the syrup and add few strands of saffron.
  11. Now, put all the apple balls in this sugar syrup for sometime.
  12. Serve hot Apple Gulab Jamuns.
